something else that stuck out to me in daniel kahneman’s episode of on being was his thinking and research about the experiencing self and the remembering self. some of it still doesn’t quite sit right with me, but i believe it.
Read more...last week, during our boston sunday session with adrienne maree brown, we did an activity where we somatically developed an understanding of how we individually and collectively dealt with change. there were definitely interesting lessons about the collective, but one of the takeaways for me was that i generally deal with unexpected change poorly. this i knew, but it was funny to see it show up somatically.
