reflections on my two morning meditation sessions at the won dharma center

this is the second day in a row that i’ve sat in on the morning meditation at the won dharma center. we’re on a colab staff retreat and since i missed out on the sits last time, i resolved myself to do them this time. they’ve been really good. some thoughts:

the invitation to brave space

also back in january, adrienne recalled micky scottbey jones’ invitation to brave space. i had heard of the idea of brave space, as opposed to safe space, before but i don’t think i’d ever seen this source material and invitation. it’s quite lovely, i think.

notes on the four agreements

back in jnauary, we had a colab staff meeting where the topic of the day was the four agreements. the four agreements are ancient toltec wisdom, distilled into western language. they are:
